Blueweiss was President of the league from 2008 until his passing in 2012.  To honor his service and contribution to the league over the years, a two-story press box and wireless scoreboard will be built and dedicated in his name at Unity Park in Trumbull.  A groundbreaking ceremony was held during Opening Day ceremonies on Saturday, April 27, 2013.

Bai Award for Excellence in Litigation since 1995.  This award is given each year to one Quinnipiac University School of Law graduate selected by the faculty to have demonstrated the potential to be an outstanding litigator.  We are pleased to honor Mr. Bai’s reputation as a successful litigator by sponsoring this award in his memory.


Bai, Pollock, Blueweiss & Mulcahey is a proud sponsor of the Kristin Nicole Appelberg Golf Tournament to benefit the St. Vincent’s Special Needs Services held on May 24, 2010 at the Tashua Knolls Golf Course in Trumbull.   This organization provides programs and services for children and adults with developmental disabilities.  This year’s event is in Nicole’s name.  She passed away in December 2009 at the age of 15 having taught everyone with whom she had contact valuable lessons about courage, persistence and hope.

Bai, Pollock, Blueweiss & Mulcahey is a supporter of the Alpha Community Services’ 9th Annual Walk to End Homelessness, a 4 mile walk on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at Captain’s Cove in Bridgeport.  Alpha is a branch of the Central Connecticut Coast YMCA which provides services to the homeless in the greater Bridgeport area.  Every night, approximately 4,000 people in CT, including many children. experience homelessness.  In 2009, Alpha provided services to over 200 families and more than 300 children.

Bai, Pollock, Blueweiss & Mulcahey a proud sponsor of the 1st Annual Wounded Warrior Run New Haven on Sunday, May 23, 2010.  This 5 mile run was organized by members of the 6th Motor Transport Battalion of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Center in New Haven, CT to benefit their fellow service men and women injured in combat through the Wounded Warrior Project.
